Children’s Party Conditions of Hire

  • All parties will have use of the whole building. Ensure you select ‘All Rooms’ when making a booking request. The booking time must include setting up and clearing away.
  • Weekend and evening party hire will be charged at £30.50  an hour – the standard rate for the whole building.
  • No smoking or vaping is permitted anywhere within Weston Village Hall.
  • Individuals or groups hiring the hall are responsible for ensuring their guests and anyone associated with their event are aware of and comply with the policy.
  • We have a £50 discounted rate for a weekday 4 hour booking for a children’s party with a finish time no later than 6pm. This rate is for the Main Hall only. No alcohol allowed.
  • Your booking request will be checked and discussed with you within a couple of days.
  • Your booking is confirmed when you have paid the invoice in full.
  • The price includes use of the bar/kitchenette, chairs and tables.
  • Main Hall – 59 chairs and 10 large tables (approx. 75cm x 2m. Each table will seat 6-8) are available in the Hall storage.
  • Reading Room – 33 chairs,  4 large tables (approx. 75cm x 2m. Each table will seat 6-8) and 6 small tables to seat 4 and 6 large tables to seat 6-8.
  • You will need to bring your own cutlery and crockery, we have a drinks fridge, kettles and some mugs available in the kitchenette.
  • You will need to bring bin bags and remove your recycling as we are unable to accommodate this.
  • You are not allowed to stick anything to the painted walls with blue tack or sellotape as this has previously damaged the paintwork. You can use the badminton net cleats on the walls either side of the hall to tie things to.
  • We do no allow helium balloons or confetti of any type in the hall.
  • If you are having a bouncy castle or any other entertainment, please make sure your supplier has the relevant insurance to cover their activity.
  • Please ask your guests to park their vehicles in the car park at the side of the building in Jackson Lane.
  • During the week leading up to your booking, you will be contacted by a member of the committee to arrange opening and closing with you.
  • Please leave the hall clean and tidy for the next booking, remove your rubbish and mop up any food and drink spills.
